Natural treasures

Although Gipuzkoa is a densely populated territory, a fifth of the province's land area is in protected natural areas (as designated by the Basque Nature Conservation Act — Legislative Decree 1/2014). Each of these spaces is a natural treasure that is well worth a visit.
