Victor Hugo House
The French poet and writer Victor Hugo fell in love with Pasaia during his stay there in 1843. Nestling at the heart of the municipality, in the Bay, Victor Hugo’s House takes visitors on a trip down Pasaia’s romantic memory lane. Its permanent exhibition, Victor Hugo, viaje a la memoria, includes the writings and engravings he created right there in the house. The museum also offers the chance to take a closer look at the Pasaia of the 19th century.
