The House of History takes a look back in time at the city, and it does so in the place most suited to the purpose: Mount Urgull. The museum studies the history of San Sebastian from its origins to construction of the New Town, known as the Ensanche, explaining its social, urban and economic development by means of historical reconstructions, engravings and photographs. It also has a number of audiovisual clips intended to stimulate the interest of visitors.
